Today, I am 26 years old. Even for those who don't speak French the drawing above is quite explicit: most reductions, special cards and "young" offers end at 25 years old in France. When my banker called me yesterday about the end of my credit card contract "because it is only until 25 years of age", it made me think of this drawing.
I don't feel "old" or afraid of time passing by, I just feel like I have changed categories. For the society, I am not "young" any longer. This drawing from Pénélope Bagieu sums it up perfectly.
